Professional Driver – Logistics & Transport

About the role

Twyford Impex (U) Ltd is seeking a responsible and professional driver to support daily operations, ensuring safe and timely transportation of goods, staff and clients in the Nakaseke area.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload merchandise safely.
• Complete all delivery paperwork accurately.
• Transport products, materials and staff to designated locations.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct routine checks.
• Identify and report mechanical or electrical faults promptly.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance such as oil, battery checks and refueling.
• Keep accurate travel logs and maintenance records.
• Comply with traffic laws, road safety regulations and handle tolls.
• Provide courteous support to clients and passengers.
• Assist with errands, pickups and special duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• High school certificate or higher.
• Proven experience as a company or professional driver.
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Strong sense of responsibility, reliability and good communication skills.

Required skills

• Basic mechanical knowledge.
