Project Officer – EAR Health

About the role

The Project Officer – EAR Health will support the design, implementation and monitoring of Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) health interventions across selected districts in Uganda. Reporting to the Programme Manager, the role ensures alignment with World Vision Uganda’s 2026‑2030 strategy and donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop integrated EAR health plans and budgets that align with the country strategy.
• Coordinate ENT service delivery across health facilities and strengthen referral systems.
• Monitor project budgets, expenditures and timelines to ensure compliance with donor and community accountability standards.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement with district health departments, sub‑regional organisations and referral hospitals.
• Lead advocacy and partnership initiatives to promote project ownership and sustainability.
• Implement accountability mechanisms to capture feedback from external partners and the District Health Department.
• Track technical model fidelity and support implementation of audit recommendations in collaboration with the MEAL team.

Required profile

• Mid‑level professional with at least 36 months of experience in project planning and implementation, preferably in health or humanitarian sectors.
• Experience working with donor‑funded projects and familiarity with budget monitoring.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including government health departments and NGOs.
• Strong reporting skills and capacity to ensure compliance with organisational and donor standards.
