About the role
The Quality Engineer – Production ensures manufacturing processes, equipment, and products meet defined quality standards. The role identifies quality issues, implements corrective and preventive actions, and drives continuous improvement to boost product reliability and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Created and implemented process‑improvement strategies to reduce cost and increase output.
- Monitored employee performance, providing guidance, coaching and training to meet production goals.
- Developed new production processes and procedures to ensure safety and quality.
- Implemented single‑piece flow to improve efficiency.
- Conducted stage inspections during excavator assembly and generated corrective‑action reports.
- Inspected finished goods according to customer QAP specifications.
- Managed incoming quality of supplier material.
- Completed inspection reports within mandated timelines.
Required skills
- Proficiency with 7QC tools.
- Experience in Quality Circles.
- Knowledge of 5S methodology.
- Application of Kaizen principles.
