Regional Implementation Officer – DART

About the role

The Regional Implementation Officer will lead the delivery of facility digitisation and data‑system implementation activities for the Data‑Activated Architecture for Resilient Transition (DART) project in Uganda. Based in Kampala, the role combines field coordination, technical oversight and stakeholder engagement to support the Ministry of Health’s digital health agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate site assessments, contractor activities and ICT installations across the assigned region.
• Support EMR readiness, training logistics and commissioning of digital health solutions.
• Manage issue escalation, evidence collection and reporting for implementation milestones.
• Facilitate integration of Health Information Exchange (HIE) and priority data‑system connections.
• Travel nationally and regionally as required to ensure project delivery.

Required profile

• Current work authorization in Uganda (visa sponsorship not available).
• Experience in coordinating digital health or health‑IT projects.
• Ability to work on‑site, travel frequently and engage with government and private contractors.
• Strong organisational and communication skills for multi‑stakeholder environments.
