Regional Innovations Supervisor – Uganda

About the role

One Acre Fund is seeking a Regional Innovations Supervisor to lead agronomic trial design, monitoring and rollout across its eastern Uganda program. The role will support regional teams, deliver training, and ensure data‑driven innovation for coffee, tree, and nursery crops.

Key responsibilities

• Identify knowledge gaps and coordinate regional field trials from ideation through rollout.
• Design and manage data‑collection tools, ensuring high‑quality data across the product lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance to program teams and facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Conduct regular field visits in Iganga, Jinja, Kamuli, Buikwe and surrounding districts to support farmer training and monitor trial progress.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional departments to integrate new innovations into existing farmer services.

Required profile

• Professional experience in agronomy, preferably with smallholder farmer programs.
• Demonstrated ability to manage field trials and collect reliable agronomic data.
• Strong communication skills for training farmers and supporting regional teams.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the eastern region of Uganda.
