About the role
The Regional Research and Learning Coordinator will support the PlayMatters program across the Rest of Uganda, coordinating research activities and facilitating learning processes. This position is based in Kamwokya and works within the International Rescue Committee’s broader humanitarian mission.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate regional research initiatives, ensuring data collection aligns with program objectives.
- Analyze research findings and produce reports to inform program design and implementation.
- Facilitate knowledge‑sharing sessions and learning activities for staff and partners.
- Collaborate with IRC teams in health, protection, economic recovery and education to integrate research insights.
Required profile
- Senior‑level professional with at least 60 months (5 years) of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in research, monitoring, evaluation or learning within humanitarian or development contexts.
- Ability to work in Uganda and navigate multi‑sectoral program environments.
