Remote CMS Developer – Build Custom WordPress/Drupal Solutions

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CMS Developer to design, build, and maintain custom content management systems for a fully remote team. You will translate design mock-ups into responsive, secure web experiences while ensuring scalability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and scale custom CMS applications (WordPress, Drupal, Craft CMS, Magento).
• Create bespoke themes, modules, and plugins from scratch.
• Implement responsive layouts and guarantee cross-browser compatibility.
• Optimize performance, conduct tuning, and manage regular backups and updates.
• Set up custom post types and fields to provide an intuitive editing interface for non-technical users.
• Apply technical SEO best practices and integrate third-party APIs, CRM systems, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
• Collaborate daily with UI/UX designers, back-end developers, and content stakeholders.
• Maintain clean code and comprehensive technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of professional software development with a strong focus on CMS platforms.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively.
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and attention to detail.

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox/Grid), JavaScript (ES6+).
• Server-side languages: PHP, Python, Ruby.
• Deep experience with WordPress, Drupal, Craft CMS, Magento.
• Custom post types, custom fields, theme and plugin development.
• API integration, database management, custom backend architecture.
• Technical SEO, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics.
