Sales Agent (Insurance)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time, on‑site Sales Agent to join our insurance agency in Nakasongola. You will be responsible for generating new business, presenting our services to prospective clients, and nurturing existing relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Conduct sales calls, meetings, and presentations.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals.
• Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to align client needs with agency offerings.
• Ensure smooth handover of new accounts to internal teams.
• Track sales activities, report on performance, and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry trends.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Proven sales experience in a target‑driven environment.
• Basic knowledge of insurance products and client needs.
• Willingness to engage in continuous training.
• Organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
