Sales Agent – Insurance (Kampala)

About the role

The Sales Agent position is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Kampala for an insurance agency. You will be responsible for generating new business by identifying prospects, presenting insurance products, and guiding customers through the sales process.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential customers in Kampala and surrounding areas.
• Present insurance and related products clearly, answering client inquiries.
• Follow up on leads, negotiate terms, and close sales to meet targets.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities.
• Provide post‑sale customer support and handle basic service issues.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and sales techniques.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Willingness to learn insurance products and explain them clearly.
• Reliability and ability to work on‑site in Kampala.
• Prior experience in sales, insurance, or customer‑facing roles is an advantage.
