Sales Agent

About the role

The Insurance Agency is looking for a full‑time, on‑site Sales Agent based in Kampala. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, presenting the agency’s services to prospective clients, and managing the complete sales cycle from first contact to deal closure.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and qualify leads, following up on prospects to build a robust sales pipeline.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to client needs.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with agency objectives.
• Maintain and nurture long‑term client relationships to drive retention and growth.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure client requirements are clearly communicated and met.
• Provide ongoing account service and support to existing clients.

Required profile

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation with the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Proven sales experience in a B2B environment, including prospecting, presenting, and closing.
• Knowledge of insurance or related financial products.
• Familiarity with advertising or marketing services.
• Organizational and time‑management abilities to handle multiple leads and accounts.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent practical experience.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Kampala in a fast‑paced, target‑driven setting.
