Sales and Marketing Representative

About the role

The Sales and Marketing Representative works full‑time on‑site in Kampala for an insurance agency. The role focuses on generating new business, presenting agency services to prospects, and nurturing existing client relationships to meet sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and negotiate contracts.
• Prepare and deliver sales pitches, follow up on leads, and close deals.
• Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop proposals and support campaign execution.
• Conduct market research, track performance against targets, and report results.
• Participate in training sessions and internal meetings as required.

Required profile

• Strong communication, customer service and sales abilities.
• Experience in advertising, marketing or a similar commercial environment is beneficial.
• Ability to work on‑site, manage multiple opportunities and use basic digital tools.
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Competence in Microsoft Office or similar office software.
