Sales and Marketing Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales and Marketing Specialist to join Nakawa University of Science and Technology in Kampala. In this full-time, on-site position you will drive enrollment and raise the university’s profile by creating and executing targeted sales and marketing campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for academic programmes, events and outreach initiatives.
• Identify, qualify and nurture prospective learner leads through outreach campaigns and personalised communication.
• Produce marketing collateral and coordinate promotional activities, including open days and recruitment events.
• Maintain relationships with prospective and current learners, families and partner organisations.
• Track and analyse performance metrics to optimise campaign effectiveness.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative teams to ensure consistent messaging and a seamless stakeholder experience.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer-service abilities.
• Proven sales and sales-management experience with a focus on enrollment targets.
• Experience delivering training sessions or orientations.
• Background in education marketing, stakeholder engagement and basic data analysis.
• Relevant academic qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple activities and adapt to a fast-changing university environment.
