Sales Associate (Insurance)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Associate to join our insurance agency in Kampala. The role is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on generating new business and nurturing client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect potential clients through market research and outreach.
• Present insurance products, follow up leads and convert opportunities into sales.
• Conduct client meetings, prepare proposals and negotiate terms.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and sales activities.
• Build long‑term relationships and collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Meet or exceed defined sales targets and provide market feedback.

Required profile

• Strong sales and client relationship abilities, including prospecting, lead follow‑up and negotiation.
• Clear presentation skills and ability to communicate value to diverse clients.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management capabilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication in a professional environment.
• Comfortable working on‑site in Kampala and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Previous sales experience is an advantage.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field preferred.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with office software.
• Familiarity with CRM or sales tracking tools.
