Sales Executive – Insurance

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site Sales Executive position is based in Kampala and focuses on driving new business for an insurance agency. The role combines prospecting, client relationship management, and sales closing to achieve revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and cold calling.
• Schedule, lead, and follow up client meetings, preparing proposals and quotations.
• Negotiate terms and close sales agreements.
• Track sales activities, prepare regular performance reports, and update CRM data.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high‑quality service delivery and client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong negotiation, closing, and communication skills.
• Ability to build and manage client relationships with excellent customer service.
• Organized, time‑management oriented and able to handle multiple leads and deadlines.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and comfortable in a target‑focused environment.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic computer applications.
• Experience using CRM tools to manage leads and sales activities.
