Sales Hunter

About the role

The Sales Hunter will work on‑site in Kampala, driving new business for Platinum Credit Limited’s micro‑finance products. You will identify prospects, build relationships and guide clients through loan applications while meeting ambitious sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and generate leads for civil servant, log‑book, personal and asset finance loans.
• Schedule, attend and conduct client meetings to present product features and eligibility.
• Explain loan terms, assist clients through the application process and ensure accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams for timely follow‑up and high‑quality customer service.
• Track performance, prepare simple reports and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.

Required profile

• Proven sales, negotiation and closing abilities with a results‑driven mindset.
• Strong communication and customer relationship skills, able to build trust and handle objections.
• Basic financial literacy and understanding of credit or lending processes, preferably in micro‑finance.
• Self‑motivated, organized, with excellent time‑management and planning capabilities.
• Integrity, professionalism and commitment to inclusive, non‑discriminatory customer engagement.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and record‑keeping.
