Sales & Marketing Associate

About the role

The Sales & Marketing Associate will work on‑site in Kampala for an insurance agency. The role focuses on generating new business, nurturing client relationships and promoting agency services to both prospective and existing customers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the local market.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients.
• Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations and sales pitches.
• Support the planning and execution of sales and marketing campaigns.
• Track campaign performance and report results.
• Provide customer support and respond to client inquiries.
• Collaborate with creative and account teams to ensure consistent messaging.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on industry trends.

Required profile

• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation.
• Core sales competencies such as lead generation, negotiation and closing.
• Good organisational and time‑management skills with attention to detail.
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in advertising, marketing or sales and familiarity with the Kampala market is an advantage.
