Sales Marketing Executive

About the role

The Sales Marketing Executive will work on‑site in Kampala for an insurance agency, driving new business opportunities and nurturing client relationships. This full‑time position combines sales generation with strategic marketing to promote the agency’s insurance services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the insurance market.
• Create, execute and monitor sales and marketing plans.
• Conduct market research to understand client needs and industry trends.
• Prepare proposals, presentations and promotional materials for prospective clients.
• Manage marketing campaigns and coordinate with internal teams to deliver client projects.
• Track performance metrics, report on pipeline status and optimise activities.
• Maintain regular client meetings, follow‑ups and relationship management.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field (preferred).
• Proven sales experience with lead generation, negotiation and closing in a target‑driven environment.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala, manage multiple priorities and maintain a client‑focused approach.
• Experience in recruitment, advertising or professional services is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Experience using CRM software tools.
• Familiarity with basic digital marketing platforms.
