Sales Representative – Financial Products

About the role

The Sales Team member will promote Platinum Credit Limited’s micro‑finance loan products to civil servants, teachers and employees of partner companies in Kampala. Working on‑site, you will identify prospective clients, explain product features and guide customers through the application process.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential clients through field visits and referrals.
• Present and explain the range of loan products, including civil servant, log‑book, personal and asset finance.
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to team goals.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and loan applications.
• Follow up with existing and prospective customers to ensure progress and satisfaction.
• Provide feedback on market trends and customer needs to management.

Required profile

• Strong sales and negotiation abilities with a focus on building long‑term relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and active listening skills.
• Basic understanding of lending products, micro‑finance principles and credit assessment.
• Organizational and time‑management capabilities to handle multiple client accounts.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a target‑driven team.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with common office software and digital tools for customer management and reporting.
