Sales Representative – Insurance Agency

About the role

The Insurance Agency is seeking a full‑time Sales Representative to work on‑site in Kampala. You will identify new business opportunities, meet prospective clients and present the agency’s insurance services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and manage a sales pipeline.
• Meet with prospective clients, present insurance solutions and negotiate terms.
• Prepare proposals, close deals and maintain accurate records of client interactions.
• Collaborate with creative and operations teams to ensure campaigns are delivered as promised.
• Follow up with existing clients to build long‑term relationships, gather feedback and explore upselling or cross‑selling opportunities.

Required profile

• Strong sales and negotiation abilities with experience in prospecting and closing deals.
• Excellent client relationship management skills, able to build trust and handle objections.
• Knowledge of advertising, marketing or media services and how campaigns support brand awareness.
• Clear written and verbal communication, confident presentation skills.
• Organisational and time‑management skills to handle multiple leads and meet sales targets.
• Comfort working in an on‑site collaborative environment and willingness to travel locally.
• Prior experience in sales, customer service or account management, preferably in advertising or related industries.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or equivalent practical experience preferred.
