Sales Representative

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Sales Representative to join our insurance agency in Kampala. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and delivering tailored agency solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect new leads and conduct cold outreach.
• Lead sales meetings, presentations, and product demos.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and follow up to close deals.
• Coordinate with creative and account teams to scope work accurately.
• Monitor client satisfaction and track sales performance metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in advertising, marketing or related services.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and maintain long‑term client relationships.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills, with a focus on meeting sales targets.
• Basic understanding of advertising and marketing concepts, both digital and traditional.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and comfortable working both independently and within an on‑site team.
• A diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.
