Sales Service Representative

About the role

The Sales Service Representative will work on‑site in Kampala, engaging with existing and prospective clients to promote SVG Ventures' trade finance and project management services. You will guide customers through the sales cycle, from initial inquiry to post‑sale follow‑up, ensuring a smooth and professional experience.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients, explain trade finance and project management solutions.
• Respond to client queries promptly and accurately.
• Prepare basic proposals, quotations, and related documentation.
• Coordinate with internal sales and operations teams to ensure timely service delivery.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records in CRM tools.
• Monitor client accounts, identify upsell opportunities, and support additional service requests.
• Assist with documentation required for international trade finance transactions.

Required profile

• Strong client service and communication skills, able to explain financial and project information clearly.
• Sales support abilities, including handling inquiries, preparing quotations, and following up to close business.
• Basic knowledge or genuine interest in international trade finance, banking, or project management.
• Solid organizational and administrative skills with accurate documentation and data entry.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala, collaborate within a team, and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Relevant academic background in business, finance, economics or related field preferred; prior sales or financial services experience is an advantage.
• Professional conduct, attention to detail, and a proactive problem‑solving attitude.
