Sales Staff – Full-time (Kampala)

About the role

The Sales Staff position is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Kampala. You will drive new business for an insurance agency by prospecting, presenting services and closing deals while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify prospective clients and initiate contact.
• Present agency services, prepare proposals and negotiate terms.
• Close sales in line with company targets and follow up on agreements.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Track sales activities using CRM or other sales‑tracking tools.
• Contribute to market research, attend client meetings and support promotional events.

Required profile

• Proven sales and client‑relationship abilities, including prospecting, presenting, negotiating and closing.
• Understanding of advertising and marketing concepts and ability to communicate agency services persuasively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with strong presentation skills.
• Organised, able to manage multiple leads and deadlines.
• Comfortable using basic digital tools and CRM/sales‑tracking systems.
• Proactive, target‑driven and capable of working independently as well as within a team.
• Prior experience in sales, business development or account management, preferably in advertising or marketing.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field is preferred.
