About the role
The College is seeking a qualified and experienced School Counsellor to cover a limited‑tenure leave replacement from 19 October 2026 to 16 December 2027. The role focuses on supporting junior‑school students and works closely with the Pastoral Care team.
Key responsibilities
- Provide individual counselling, liaison and case management for students.
- Make referrals to external professionals or agencies as needed.
- Offer advice and resources to teachers and parents.
- Collaborate with the Pastoral Care team to promote student wellbeing.
Required profile
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to actively promote the Catholic ethos and mission of the College.
- Experience using evidence‑based counselling interventions.
- Ability to work as part of a team focused on child and adolescent wellbeing.
- Discretion and high ethical standards.
