Senior Associate – Technology, Media, Telecoms, IP & Sustainability

About the role

KTA Advocates is looking for an experienced Senior Associate to join its Technology, Media, Telecoms, Intellectual Property & Sustainability practice. The role sits at the intersection of technology law, digital transformation, ESG, climate finance and carbon markets, reporting directly to the Partner & Head of the practice.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop client relationships across TMT, IP and sustainability matters.
• Oversee matter management, supervise junior lawyers and ensure high‑quality delivery.
• Lead business development initiatives and thought‑leadership activities.
• Provide legal and policy advice on technology regulation, data protection, cybersecurity, AI, digital commerce, IP protection and carbon‑market transactions.
• Contribute to the day‑to‑day performance and strategic growth of the practice group.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with several years of experience in technology, media, telecoms, IP or sustainability law.
• Strong technical understanding combined with commercial judgment.
• Proven leadership, client‑management and entrepreneurial skills.
• Ability to work on complex, emerging legal issues and drive practice development.
