Senior Finance Manager

About the role

The Senior Finance Manager will lead the accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting and robust internal controls. This role partners with the Finance Controller to drive month‑end and year‑end close processes while mentoring a high‑performing accounting team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, general ledger, and financial reporting activities.
• Maintain the chart of accounts, accounting policies, and financial controls.
• Ensure accurate intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and transaction processing.
• Lead stock counts, inventory reconciliations, and inventory control processes.
• Coordinate timely month‑end and year‑end financial close processes.
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and consolidated group financial statements.
• Manage fixed‑asset accounting, verification, depreciation, and reconciliations.
• Coordinate external audits, respond to audit requests, and implement recommendations.
• Design and monitor effective internal controls to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering high performance and accountability.
• Support the Finance Controller and act as deputy when required.
