Senior Grants and Partnership Manager

About the role
The International Rescue Committee is seeking a Senior Grants and Partnership Manager to lead compliance and grant management for the PlayMatters education initiative across Ethiopia, South Sudan, and Uganda. This senior position supports high‑quality programming, service delivery, and partnership coordination within a multi‑partner consortium.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and implement grant awards in full compliance with donor requirements.
- Coordinate program implementation, financial monitoring, and reporting across HQ, regional, and country teams.
- Set and track financial and programmatic goals, identify risks, and ensure timely mitigation.
- Maintain productive relationships with donors and consortium partners, providing regular updates and compliance documentation.
- Support the Regional Senior Management Team in achieving strategic objectives for PlayMatters.
Required profile
- Proven experience in grants management and partnership coordination within humanitarian or development contexts.
- Strong understanding of donor compliance, monitoring, and reporting standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across technical, financial, and project teams.
- Solutions‑driven mindset with a passion for improving education outcomes for children affected by crisis.
