Senior IT & Process Officer

About the role

Watu Credit is looking for a highly skilled Senior IT & Process Officer to provide reliable IT support across the head office and branch network. The role combines technical troubleshooting, hardware and software management, and continuous improvement of business processes to ensure secure and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line and escalated IT support for users in the head office and field locations.
• Maintain and expand LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches and wireless equipment.
• Administer the help‑desk system, assign tickets, and generate regular performance reports.
• Install, upgrade and configure hardware, software, printers, scanners and other peripherals.
• Manage IT asset inventory, process orders and keep stock levels up to date.
• Set up and support call‑center accounts, softphones and related integration.
• Collaborate with the IT Admin to ensure smooth daily operations and support IT projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands‑on experience in IT support and network administration.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and work independently.
• Willingness to spend up to 50 % of time in field locations.
