Senior IT & Process Officer

About the role

The Senior IT & Process Officer will provide reliable IT support to the head office and branch locations, ensuring network stability, hardware functionality, and system security. The role also contributes to continuous process improvement and IT project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line and escalated support for computer systems, hardware, and software.
• Maintain and expand the LAN/WAN environment, including routers, switches, and wireless infrastructure.
• Administer the helpdesk system, assign tickets, and generate weekly/monthly reports.
• Install, upgrade, and configure operating systems (Windows Server, Linux, macOS) and applications.
• Manage IT asset inventory, procure equipment, and track stock levels.
• Support office equipment such as printers, scanners, CCTV, and call‑center softphones.
• Collaborate with the IT Administrator to ensure efficient IT operations.
• Prepare internal reports and documentation as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in IT support, systems administration, and network administration.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls and VPNs.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Proficiency with Linux and macOS operating systems.
• Hardware installation, maintenance, repair and cabling (laptops, printers, CCTV, etc.).
• LAN/WAN networking, router and switch configuration, wireless setup.
• Helpdesk system administration and ticket reporting.
• IT asset inventory management.
