Software Engineer Annotator (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer Annotator to join our remote team. In this role you will evaluate, label, and improve software engineering datasets that power AI and large language model training.

Key responsibilities

• Annotate and review software engineering datasets used for AI training.
• Assess AI‑generated code for correctness, efficiency, readability, and security.
• Label tasks such as code completion, debugging, refactoring, and optimization.
• Provide structured feedback to enhance model performance.
• Ensure adherence to annotation guidelines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with AI trainers, reviewers, and data teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
• 3–5 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
• Experience with data annotation, AI training, or code review is preferred.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle, APIs, backend systems, and web technologies.
• Basic knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, or LLMs is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, or Go.
• Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Ability to accurately annotate, label, and evaluate code datasets.
• Familiarity with annotation platforms or labeling tools.
