About the role
The Arlington Independent School District seeks a dedicated Spanish teacher for grades 9‑12 for the 2026‑27 academic year. The successful candidate will deliver engaging language instruction, support student growth, and contribute to a positive school community.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Texas Education Agency standards, adapting instruction for diverse learning styles.
- Assess student progress through formal and informal evaluations and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with special‑education staff to modify curricula and support IEP goals.
- Supervise teacher aides and oversee extracurricular activities as assigned.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with appropriate endorsements for Spanish and secondary education.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum, instructional strategies, and classroom management.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
