About the role
The Davis Connect K-6 Online School is seeking a Special Education Teacher for the 2026‑2027 school year. This remote position focuses on delivering instruction to students with mild to moderate disabilities in a virtual K‑6 environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver daily lessons (approximately 8 hours) tailored to mild and moderate disability learners.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in line with district guidelines.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to ensure inclusive instruction.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
- Maintain required documentation and comply with licensing and endorsement standards.
Required profile
- Valid teaching license for Special Education (K‑12+).
- Endorsement in Special Education for mild/moderate disabilities.
- Willingness to work as an intern or volunteer for the specified term.
