About the role
The Main Street Academy is seeking a qualified Speech and Language Pathologist to join its special‑education team. You will provide assessment, therapy, and support to school‑aged children with speech and language disorders, helping them succeed academically and socially.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights.
- Maintain accurate student records and manage data using Infinite Campus.
- Stay current with research and best practices in speech‑language therapy.
Required profile
- Previous experience working with school‑aged children (preferred).
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of special‑education laws and regulations.
- Ability to create and maintain detailed progress records.
