Store Manager

About the role

Lexwell Foods Ltd is seeking a proactive Store Manager to lead daily store operations in Kamwokya, Kampala. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth workflow, high customer satisfaction, and achieving sales targets while managing both retail and warehouse activities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all store activities to guarantee efficient performance.
• Supervise warehouse staff, sales representatives, and store assistants.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, leave records, and enforce discipline.
• Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and training for employees.
• Maintain excellent customer service and strong client relationships.
• Manage inventory processes including receiving, storage, transfers, and stock counts.
• Ensure accurate stock records and investigate discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the sales team to meet targets and improve business performance.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Logistics, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in retail, FMCG, wholesale, or store management.
• Proven experience managing sales staff and warehouse personnel.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Good knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
• Honest, responsible, and able to work under pressure.
