Tax Manager

About the role

Crowe Uganda, a member firm of Crowe Global, is looking for an experienced Tax Manager to lead complex tax advisory, transfer pricing, compliance and dispute resolution engagements for multinational groups and major local businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Lead corporate tax, VAT, PAYE, WHT and excise duty engagements.
• Manage transfer pricing documentation and audit defence.
• Lead URA audits, objections, reviews and dispute resolution matters.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Mentor and develop junior tax professionals.
• Contribute to business development and practice growth.

Required profile

• CPA(U), ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, Taxation or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of tax experience, preferably senior level.
• Strong knowledge of Ugandan tax laws and URA practice.
• Proven experience leading tax audits, assessments, objections and advisory engagements.
• Transfer pricing expertise and multinational/cross‑border experience.
