Technical Solar Sales Representative

About the role

The Technical Solar Sales Representative will expand Cworth's customer base across Uganda, focusing on the Central region. You will support installers, resellers and end‑users by providing product expertise and closing sales for a full range of solar solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Greet walk‑in and call‑in clients at the Kireka showroom.
• Sell hybrid inverters, lithium batteries, solar panels, solar streetlights, floodlights and portable power stations.
• Conduct site visits with a technician to size solar systems and prepare quotations.
• Follow up leads from phone, WhatsApp and social media until the sale is closed.
• Visit installers, electricians, hardware shops and partners to promote Cworth products.
• Achieve monthly sales targets and submit simple sales reports.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 months experience in solar or technical sales.
• Strong spoken and written English and spoken Luganda.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, email).
• Comfortable using WhatsApp and social media for client follow‑up.
• Valid driving licence for field visits.

Required skills

• Understanding of solar system sizing and components (inverters, batteries, panels, MPPTs).
• Knowledge of hybrid inverters and lithium battery technology.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
