Technical Supervisor & Engineer – Electronic Security Systems

About the role

The Technical Supervisor & Engineer will lead the design, installation, and maintenance of electronic security solutions for Tight Security Limited. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure that CCTV, access control, intrusion detection and related systems operate reliably and integrate seamlessly with the company’s IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee installation, configuration, commissioning and upgrades of CCTV/VMS, IP cameras, NVR/DVR, access control, biometric readers and alarm panels.
• Manage integration of security hardware with networking, directory services and building management systems.
• Lead fault diagnosis, preventive maintenance programmes and maintain hardware spares inventory.
• Coordinate vendor proposals, enforce SLAs and supervise contractors on‑site.
• Plan and execute projects from requirements gathering through design, testing, documentation and hand‑over.
• Maintain technical documentation, wiring diagrams, network maps and change logs.
• Ensure compliance with privacy, data‑protection and local fire‑safety regulations.
• Mentor technicians, assign tasks and provide after‑hours on‑call support for critical incidents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Security Technology, IT or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years hands‑on experience with electronic security systems and at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong understanding of structured cabling, PoE, UPS, DC power and basic electrical safety.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and project‑management skills.
