About the role
Kansanga Hill Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic Upper Primary Mathematics Teacher to join its dedicated team. The role involves delivering learner‑centered mathematics lessons that align with the national curriculum and fostering a supportive classroom environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons for upper primary students.
- Apply effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Integrate ICT tools to enhance instructional delivery.
- Maintain accurate records and fulfill administrative duties related to teaching.
Required profile
- Diploma in Primary Education with a specialization in Mathematics.
- Minimum two years of relevant teaching experience at the primary level.
- Strong knowledge of the current Ugandan primary mathematics curriculum.
- Professional, innovative, responsible and able to work collaboratively within a team.
