About the role

We are looking for a creative Video Editor to join our team in Kampala. You will transform raw footage into engaging video content that aligns with our brand and marketing goals.

Key responsibilities

• Trim, cut, and arrange raw footage, applying transitions, effects, and audio enhancements.
• Manage and curate multi‑format content, including text, photos, and graphics, to ensure brand consistency.
• Utilise AI‑powered tools such as Pixlr, CapCut, and InShot for background removal, automated enhancements, and faster workflows.
• Conduct quality control reviews, correcting errors and maintaining style standards.
• Organise media libraries for quick access to project files and archived assets.
• Maintain a standard 9 am – 5 pm schedule and be willing to work overtime to meet deadlines.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with mobile and desktop video editing software (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, InShot).
• Familiarity with AI features in creative applications.
• Strong sense of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to follow creative briefs and collaborate remotely.
• Fast‑learner mindset, comfortable picking up new software quickly.
• Disciplined work ethic to meet strict delivery timelines.
