Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer

About the role

We are seeking a creative Video Editor and Motion Graphics Designer to join Goph Technologies’ digital marketing team in Kampala. The role focuses on post‑production for short‑form and corporate video content across multiple client brands.

Key responsibilities

• Edit short‑form videos such as Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and social media ads.
• Produce corporate, promotional, product and testimonial videos.
• Create 2D motion graphics, animated text, titles, transitions, lower thirds and logo animations.
• Utilise AI tools to generate video clips, visual assets and backgrounds.
• Record, edit and synchronise voice‑overs using both recorded audio and AI voice‑generation.
• Perform colour correction, colour grading, audio editing and sound design.
• Add accurate captions and subtitles.
• Adapt content to different sizes, lengths and formats for various digital platforms.
• Follow creative briefs, scripts and brand guidelines while meeting production deadlines.
• Organise project files and manage revisions for multiple client projects.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of professional video‑editing or motion‑graphics experience.
• Strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating relevant work.
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects (or equivalent).
• Experience creating 2D motion graphics and editing short‑form and corporate videos.
• Practical experience with AI video‑generation and AI voice‑over tools.
• Knowledge of colour grading, sound design and visual storytelling.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, accept feedback and meet deadlines.
• Full‑time availability on‑site at the Muyenga office in Kampala.
• Previous experience in a digital marketing agency or handling multiple brand accounts is a plus.
