Warehouse Manager

About the role

We are seeking a trustworthy, hands‑on Warehouse Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of our beverage distribution business in Kampala. The role combines management, cash handling, administration, stock oversight and sales support to ensure smooth and accountable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle, record and reconcile daily cash and other payments.
• Monitor daily sales, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.
• Supervise the sales team, warehouse staff, drivers and loaders.
• Track stock movement, work with the Stock Controller to resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare accurate daily sales, stock and operational reports for CCBA/Coca‑Cola.
• Follow up on outstanding customer payments and ensure company funds are accounted for.
• Check that deliveries, sales and collections are properly recorded.
• Assist with customer service and resolve delivery issues.
• Maintain confidentiality of finances, stock and pricing.
• Report any cash, stock, staff or operational irregularities immediately.

Required profile

• Honest, trustworthy and highly accountable.
• Strong numerical ability and record‑keeping skills.
• Effective communicator with the ability to supervise staff.
• Organised, proactive and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable in a busy FMCG/distribution environment.
• Computer literate and comfortable working with Excel and other basic systems.
• Good decision‑maker and problem‑solver.
• Mature enough to handle confidential business information.
• Flexible and willing to support different areas of the business as needed.
