Agency Recruitment Officer – Hoima Branch

About the role

The Agency Recruitment Officer will lead and coordinate the training function at Prudential’s Hoima branch. This role focuses on attracting, onboarding, and developing new agents while supporting the overall growth of the agency network.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and organise new‑agent onboarding, rookie development, and agency leadership training programmes.
• Deliver Pru Academy sessions, zero‑case writer workshops and specialised training modules.
• Conduct branch training needs analysis surveys and schedule boiler‑room sessions.
• Develop partial training content and coordinate delivery across the branch.
• Source potential recruits, guide applicants through the online recruitment portal and organise Business Opportunity Presentations (BOP).
• Identify manpower needs, drive recruitment awareness through social media, career fairs and university partnerships.
• Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, manage assessments and shortlist candidates for hiring managers.
• Promote agency culture, benefits and career paths in collaboration with marketing.
• Ensure candidates meet licensing and regulatory requirements and manage background checks.
• Support onboarding training, facilitate smooth transitions for new interns and track performance metrics.
• Prepare recruitment reports and analytics (time‑to‑fill, source effectiveness, etc.).
