About the role
Euro FMCG Ltd is seeking an analytical and ethical Assistant Legal Officer to support commercial legal affairs and regulatory compliance at its head office.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, supplier contracts, SLAs and NDAs.
- Monitor compliance with manufacturing statutes, product labeling, health & safety and employment law.
- Assist in preparing board papers, meeting agendas and maintaining statutory corporate records.
- Investigate internal labour disputes, assess customer legal complaints and coordinate with external counsel.
- Provide timely legal advice to HR, Procurement, Logistics and Sales teams.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognized institution; LDC is a plus.
- 3‑5 years of progressive legal practice or corporate law experience, preferably in manufacturing, retail or FMCG.
- Willingness to relocate and work full‑time at the Namataba head office.
Required skills
- Strong contract drafting and commercial negotiation abilities.
- Good understanding of consumer goods compliance, industrial relations and commercial litigation.
