About the role
The Upland Unified School District is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach to support the varsity baseball program and ensure player eligibility and safety.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the head coach with daily practices, game preparation, and on‑field instruction.
- Help monitor and verify player eligibility for the varsity roster.
- Support implementation of health and safety protocols, including concussion, cardiac arrest, and heat‑illness prevention measures.
Required profile
- Current Concussion in Sports, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, and Heat Illness Prevention certificates (renewed every two years).
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification.
- Letter of Introduction.
- Two current letters of recommendation dated within the last twelve months.
- Proof of high‑school graduation or equivalent.
- Resume.
- Compliance with the district’s non‑discrimination policy.
