Backend Engineer Annotator

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Backend Engineer Annotator to support the development and evaluation of artificial intelligence models. In this role you will review, annotate, validate, and improve backend‑focused datasets, code samples, and system‑design outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and annotate backend code samples and engineering workflows.
• Label datasets that involve REST APIs, GraphQL, and backend processes.
• Validate scalability, performance, and reliability standards of server‑side code.
• Provide structured engineering reasoning and evaluation feedback.
• Review database queries, authentication mechanisms, and microservice interactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Prior experience reviewing code or conducting technical assessments.
• Strong understanding of backend security principles and secure coding standards.

Required skills

• REST APIs and GraphQL.
• Authentication systems (OAuth, JWT, session management).
• Microservices architecture, distributed systems, event‑driven design.
• Containerization with Docker.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB).
