About the role

Join L’Arte as a Bakery Clerk, where you will be the friendly face greeting customers and assisting them with their bakery purchases. You will ensure that all baked goods are presented attractively, handle transactions efficiently, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide knowledgeable answers about products and ingredients.
• Take and fill bakery orders, ensuring accuracy and timely service.
• Box, bag, label, and pack baked goods as requested.
• Monitor display cases, keep them stocked, polished, and visually appealing.
• Work with back‑of‑house staff to replenish displays and maintain product freshness.
• Handle the POS system and answer phone inquiries.
• Verify food‑allergy information and prevent sales of unsafe items.
• Maintain sanitary work areas and ensure all equipment is clean.

Required profile

• Customer‑focused with strong communication skills.
• Good knowledge of bakery products and ingredients.
• Attention to detail, especially regarding food‑allergy requirements.
