Bancassurance Manager

About the role

The Bancassurance Manager will lead the strategic and operational activities of the Bancassurance division at Old Mutual Insurance (U) Ltd. Reporting to senior leadership, the role is responsible for driving growth, profitability and superior customer service through effective bank partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Bancassurance strategy, budgets and direction.
• Achieve premium growth, profitability and market‑share targets via existing and new bank partnerships.
• Identify and develop new bancassurance opportunities, including product innovation and new customer segments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with bank partners at executive, regional and branch levels.
• Negotiate and manage Service Level Agreements and partnership contracts.
• Lead a high‑performing Bancassurance team, providing coaching, performance targets and motivation.
• Train bank staff on insurance products, sales techniques and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with underwriting and product teams to design tailored general and medical insurance solutions for bank customers.
• Oversee seamless onboarding, policy issuance and claims handling for bancassurance clients.
• Monitor customer satisfaction, address escalations promptly and implement continuous improvements.
• Ensure compliance with AML, KYC and sanctions policies, conducting due‑diligence and reporting breaches.

Required profile
