About the role

Telvoip is seeking a Business Development Lead to drive revenue growth and market penetration in Uganda. This full‑time, hybrid position will focus on identifying new opportunities, building a robust sales pipeline, and forging strategic partnerships.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to uncover customer needs and competitive trends.
  • Generate, qualify, and nurture leads, maintaining an active sales pipeline.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling client presentations and negotiate commercial terms.
  • Build and sustain long‑term relationships with key accounts.
  • Gather customer feedback to inform product enhancements.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, customer success, and product teams on go‑to‑market initiatives.
  • Track performance metrics, produce regular reports for leadership, and represent Telvoip at industry events.

Required profile

  • Strong analytical abilities for evaluating market data and sales performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with solid presentation skills.
  • Proven experience in lead generation, pipeline management, and B2B sales.
  • Background in fintech, communications, SaaS, or related sectors is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment and meet targets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience.
  • At least seven years of experience in SaaS, telecommunications, or ICT B2B sales.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with CRM tools.
  • Familiarity with productivity platforms.
  • Basic data analysis tools for reporting and forecasting.
