Certified MV/HV Jointer

About the role

Kent is seeking a Certified MV/HV Jointer to support the installation, termination and testing of medium and high voltage electrical cables on large‑scale energy projects. The role involves working on site to ensure all cable jointing activities meet safety standards and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Install, terminate and test MV/HV cables up to 132 kV, including AWA/SWA, XLPE and MDPE types.
• Perform heat‑shrink, cold‑shrink and separable connector terminations.
• Carry out industrial electrical installations for medium and high voltage systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Collaborate with project teams to support all phases of the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Valid certification for MV/HV cable jointing.
• Proven experience with medium and high voltage electrical installations.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and industry standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented, diverse environment.
