About the role
Sinbad Investments is seeking a visionary Chief Executive Officer to lead its member‑owned investment firm. Based in Kampala, the CEO will shape long‑term strategy, drive financial performance and uphold the organisation’s investor‑first culture.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute the company’s long‑term vision and strategic plan.
- Oversee all core business operations, ensuring efficiency and alignment with investor values.
- Monitor financial results, manage risk and guide senior leadership on performance.
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, regulators, partners and other key stakeholders.
- Lead annual business planning, evaluate new market opportunities and foster innovation.
- Promote an inclusive, ethical and high‑performance culture across the organisation.
Required profile
- Extensive executive leadership experience, preferably as a CEO or senior leader in financial services or investments.
- Strong financial and investment management background with proven oversight of financial performance.
- Demonstrated expertise in operations management, business and strategic planning.
- Track record of revenue growth and client or investor relationship development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
