Child Protection Caseworker

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a dedicated Child Protection Caseworker to support timely and high‑quality implementation of child protection interventions across settlements. You will work directly with households, community structures and local authorities to prevent and respond to child rights violations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct BIP processes for high‑priority cases, including assessments, planning, implementation and closure.
• Ensure 100% utilization of ProGres version 4 for case documentation and monitoring.
• Coordinate referrals, family tracing and reunification with partner agencies.
• Present cases at regular case conferences and facilitate access to specialized services.
• Prepare concept notes, work plans and monthly payment requisitions for community stipends.
• Maintain accountability documents such as attendance lists and acknowledgement forms.
• Provide technical oversight and training to community‑based child protection structures.

Required profile

• Strong communication, networking and collaboration abilities.
• Experience in case management and child protection interventions.
• Ability to raise awareness, document emerging issues and link children to services promptly.
• Flexibility to work in field settings and engage with diverse stakeholders.

Required skills

• ProGres case management software (version 4).
